Jeff offered great insight to help me improve my shooting skills and included drills to practice after the end of the class to continue building on what we discussed. I cannot recommend Jeff’s training highly enough.

I attended a gun class taught by Jeff and Viki, and I felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. They took the time to explain everything in detail — from the inside and out of a gun to proper safety and what to do if your gun jams. It was a great class, and they made sure everyone was comfortable and understood each step clearly before moving on to the next steps. Jeff and Viki would watch as you shoot and give pointers on how to aim or stand correctly. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone!

Basic Pistol
I have never had instruction on shooting a handgun before, so I was a little nervous. Jeff and Viki gave an overview presentation on firearms safety and other important related information. This lasted about 1 hour. After the lecture we headed to the range where we practiced what we went over in the classroom. I learned the basic safety and pistol handling skills to feel safe at a range and able to improve my marksmanship skills. It was time well spent and I highly recommend this class for anyone new to shooting. Thanks
Basic Pistol – Skill Builder
Jeff teaches a great Basic Skill and Pistol Safety Training class. I decided to have a private class to help me get more comfortable with my guns and refresh my gun safety. He took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and taught the class at nice pace. It was so good to have the refresher for with gun safety and I needed the basic skills. Besides learning how to shoot my guns I learned the pistol malfunctions drills. I would recommend this class to anyone who is starting to learn to shoot guns or even to refresh your skills. My sister in law and I did a pistol class with Viki and Jeff, and it was wonderful! My sister in law had not shot a pistol before, I had, but wasn’t comfortable with the handling of it. By the end of the class, I was much more comfortable and felt like I knew what to do with a loaded, unloaded, and jammed pistol. It gave me more confidence as a concealed gun owner. Thank you, Jeff and Viki, for your patience, kindness, thoroughness, and support! A wonderful class that I would highly recommend and actually shared with other women who were interested!

I highly recommended taking a class at walla walla fire arms training. I’m not new to firearms but I’m a new firearm owner. The amount of knowledge and experience shows right at the start and continues through the whole class. Jeff keen senses of awareness and attention to details, gives that added safety to anyone, new to firearms, or experience owners who would like to improve their skills. If your goal is to be a competent and safe gun owner, this is the place to lay down that foundation and become that person. Best experience ever!

I’m an experienced shooter who needed a tune-up after not shooting for a couple of years. I saw the course description offered by Walla Walla Firearms Training and decided it would be a good refresher. After a brief time of putting me through some basic drills, Jeff was able to adjust the pace of the class and add some more complex drills than the course called for. I had a good time, was able to knock the dust off and added a couple of refinements to what I know. Highly recommend.

I was happy to learn of a local company that provided high quality firearm training. I needed a refresher and some help with my target shooting. They had great info and videos that broke down some of the things I didn’t understand. Jeff and Viki helped correct some of my errors and helped improve my technique. I highly recommend their help!

Walla Walla Firearms Training – Basic Pistol
I have been around firearms my entire life, however I have never taken the time to learn about them in detail. I went to this class yesterday with a couple friends of mine and I was surprised at how little I actually knew about the operations of a gun on a base level. We learned about the internal structure of the firearm and what makes it fire as all of the safety operations. I left the class feeling far more comfortable around a firearm that I already thought I was comfortable being around and now I will be handling it in even a different way.
If you have been thinking about familiarizing yourself with a firearm but don’t quite feel comfortable doing it on your own I highly suggest taking a class from Walla Walla firearms training. Jeff and Viki both have a very relaxed demeanor that make you feel comfortable, but are also very firm in what they teach.
Private Lesson
I took an excellent private lesson from Jeff. He sharpened up my handgun handling skills, tactical and emergency reloads. I hadn’t shot using only one hand from a holster, so we worked on manipulating my handgun as if I were injured. Greas time spent.

Jeff and Viki did a wonderful job of structuring and delivering the class materials. Safety was their number one concern. I have been nervous about handling a pistol but after taking the class I’m comfortable being around people that understand pistol’s are just a tool that needs to be operated mindfully. The shooting range was another great experience for me. I went from having my shots placed all over the target to having a nice group by the end of the lesson. Highly recommend!
